This worksheet teaches the divide-and-conquer approach to sorting. The list of words is distributed across a set of groups, with each group beginning with a different letter. The student needs to put the words into the correct groups, then sort the smaller groups to obtain the fully sorted list. You can specify the number of groups for the worksheet.
