We didn't have calculators when I was in elementary school, but these days they're an unavoidable skill required in the early grades. Knowing how to make a basic four-function calculator do tricks comes right after knowing how to do the same tricks the long way, with pencil and paper. We created these worksheets to provide core practice with these skills. One thing to be aware of is that not all four-function calculators are alike. Certain functionality, such as the constant feature, is implemented differently on a few models. Always check first to be sure that the model of calculator you are having your students use support the features properly so that they can complete the exercises.
