Reading the Time Near the Hour

One of the last big problems students have with reading the time is being able to get the hour right when the minute hand is very close to the beginning or end of an hour. The hour hand is already nearly pointing at the next hour as the minute hand approaches the 12, but it’s not yet that hour. This worksheet is a reading exercise where every clock is set to a time time close to the hour, either before or after the 12.
